Krishna comes to me whenever I call Him!” – a bogus devotee!

One day a well dressed man claiming to be a famous insurance agent came to our Kanyakumari temple during resting time and asked to show the deities of Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan. Even though we did not see any sign of looking like a devotee, out of compassion the pujari opened the curtain after clapping the hands and asking for forgiveness from the Lord for disturbing from resting.

When we opened the curtain, everyone offered obeisances to the deities except him. We were so perplexed to see his behaviour. Then he said, “I know Krishna very well. Every time I call, He comes to me!”

We were all so surprised. His idea was that Krishna is like a servant for him and goes to him whenever he calls Him. This kind of foolishness is common in South India where many saibaba bhaktas and siddhas are also increasingly similar to the conversion to christianity and islam in parallel. What is happening to these kind of ignorant people? This area is full of idiots with an idiot government!

Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita that no one can know Him.

manuṣyāṇāṁ sahasreṣu
kaścid yatati siddhaye
yatatām api siddhānāṁ
kaścin māṁ vetti tattvataḥ .. BG 7.3

“Out of many thousands among men, one may endeavor for perfection, and of those who have achieved perfection, hardly one knows Me in truth.”

Only by intense sadhana and devotion Krishna can be known but only to a small extent. What about seeing Him? Even Brahma cannot see His lotus feet! Yogis after millions of years of intense tapas may see but only just the toe nail of His lotus feet. Ordinary people have no capacity to even understand Krishna.

bhaktyā mām abhijānāti
yāvān yaś cāsmi tattvataḥ
tato māṁ tattvato jñātvā
viśate tad-anantaram .. BG 18.55

“One can understand Me as I am, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, only by devotional service. And when one is in full consciousness of Me by such devotion, he can enter into the kingdom of God.”

Even after studying all the Vedas Krishna cannot be known. He can be known only by His pure devotees.

advaitam acyutam anādim ananta-rūpam
ādyaṁ purāṇa-puruṣaṁ nava-yauvanaṁ ca
vedeṣu durlabham adurlabham ātma-bhaktau
govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi … (Brahma Samhita 5.33)

“I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who is inaccessible to the Vedas, but obtainable by pure unalloyed devotion of the soul, who is without a second, who is not subject to decay, is without a beginning, whose form is endless, who is the beginning, and the eternal puruṣa; yet He is a person possessing the beauty of blooming youth.”

Lord Krishna flatly says that no one can know Him.
vedāhaṁ samatītāni
vartamānāni cārjuna
bhaviṣyāṇi ca bhūtāni
māṁ tu veda na kaścana … BG 7.26

“O Arjuna, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities; but *Me no one knows.*”

If we try to bring more truths about Lord Krishna from more scriptures, this blog will be huge. Now the question is how can we teach all these idiots to know the supreme truth?
