It is about a man who at the time of death said good bye to his dearmost horse. His horse and himself became so attached in their life. He spent most of his times with his horse, riding, talking and having good times.
Also note that the video ends with a statement that the man ‘peacefully’ died! If it is India, they will say that the man attained moksha or god’s abode which is the dumpest statement!
Now the important question is this:
What will happen to this man after his death?
That can be understood from the following sloka from Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
yaṁ yaṁ vāpi smaran bhāvaṁ
tyajaty-ante kalevaram
taṁ tam evaiti kaunteya
sadā tad-bhāva-bhāvitaḥ (B.G. 8.6)
Lord Krsna says, “O son of Kunti, whatever one constantly remembers at the time of death, they will attain it without fail.”
The sloka says *without fail*. Surely we see that this man did not think about God, but overwhelmed with the thought of his dear horse. So, what will happen to this man in his next birth?
He will be born as a horse! And as the horse will be also thinking about this man, it will be born as a man!.
So, the horse will be born as a man and the man will be born as a horse! And due to the karmic law, they both will end up in the same place.
*There, the horse as a man, will be riding on the man as a horse!*
Isn’t it wonderful?
Now, by extending this scenario, let us imagine what will happen to us if we are so attached to our dog?
Now the man is walking with the dog. Later, the dog as a man will be walking the man as a dog!
Samething will happen if we are attached to anything in this life. This is the law of karma and is very dangerous if we are ignorant about this.
This is the reason, Lord Krishna says that we should be always thinking about Him, and not the relatives, wealth, job or anything in this world. We do not own any relation or anything in this world or in any worlds where we had been born millions of times!
If we are attached to any relation whatever it might be, the end result is catastrophic and we would have wasted our rare human birth. We do not own anything. So, we are not the master of dog, or cat or horse. They all belong to Krishna! Why do we thing that they belong to us? This is vicitra – so strange!
How can we become intelligent and put an end to this miserable birth and death? As Krishna is our only relation. we should just do what Krishna wants us to do:
man-manā bhava mad-bhakto
mad-yājī māḿ namaskuru
mām evaiṣyasi satyaḿ te
pratijāne priyo ’si me (B.G. 18.65)
Lord Krishna says, “Always think of me, become my devotee offer obeisances to me and worship me then surely you will come to me.”
